It could be a sign they are serious about the move and anticipate it. Just a guess.

Their thinking may be that if any coach in their program can't win in the MVC, they won't win in the AAC. Upgrading the coaching is a first step.

I have zero doubt that Wichita will be joining, with an announcement this summer.

Fan reaction on the CUSA board suggests that Wichita really landed a keeper.
