Troy forward Ariri transferring
One of Troy's forwards, 6'8" Aaron Ariri, is transferring from Troy.
Likely wouldn't have played much. He's going to be a senior next season, and was behind junior Jordon Varnado, junior Alex Hicks, and senior Juan Davis Jr. on the depth chart.
He saw quite a bit of playing time his freshman year and showed impressive moments, but sort of warmed the bench afterward. He was a big guy with a lot of muscle, and I thought he had potential to be great, but he never really panned out...

Grad transfer rule is one of the best things the NCAA has done. When everyone keeps their end of the bargain no reason the player shouldn't be able to seek greener pastures.
Sounds like a win all around. Troy gets a roster spot to fill and finds out before signing day and the young man gets to take a crack at being someplace where he can get minutes.

Hey...we need a big. Our only big we've signed immediately rescinded his NLI and ran to North Texas once Mccasland left.
I'd prefer Vernardo though, any way you guys could part with him?
