Why Memphis keeps hosting Sweet 16 and Nashville hasn't in 44 years

Closer than you think because they pumped millions into it for NHL All Star game last year. It looks good inside and all new seats.

Not so fast. You ever been to the luxury boxes at Bridgestone?
Very comparable facilities. NHL gave Bridgestone the all star game. Still waiting on that NBA all star game.
I've lived both places. I tell people at both places - it doesn't have to be us vs. them. We have a lot in common.
No, no, no. Bridgestone is a dump compared to FEF. Aluminum seating. Ugh.
Hahaha....what are you talking about? Never had aluminum seats. All seats are new, tons of premium seats, everything is new inside, and the Lexus Lounge.

I've been to Bridgestone
It's not in FEF's league
I love how you threw the "it's not about us vs them" right after you post all star game smack.
NHL? Lmao
You laugh but the Predators sell out every game and was ranked #1 for game experience out of every pro team in the USA by ESPN. Google espns sports rankings this year. #1 in 3 categories and 6th best sports franchise overall.
No offense, but it's obvious you haven't been in Bridgestone in years. It's very nice inside. Not to mention the plans they have for it over the next 10 years.
Routinely top 5 busiest arenas in the North America and top 15 in the world.

Bridgestone is a very nice arena, although the last time I was in it the name was Gaylord Center or something. It's smart to plan for the future since it's a 21 year old arena now. The growth of the Nashville area bodes well for the multimillion direct government yearly subsidy that must be paid directly to the Predators for arena operations. Did they ever settle that Preds ownership squabble where they were suing each other over who pays what? Hope it works out. NHL games are super fun.

They had some wild times 8-10 years ago with ownership and threats to move the team. It seems to have died. I believe there's a local ownership group now that controls the majority.
Will be interesting downtown when Bridgestone completes their move to a new Americas headquarters right next to the arena.

Yep. Solid local ownership and the organization is breaking revenue records year after year.
Just like FEF, Bridgestones location can't be duplicated and so they upgrade it constantly.
