Awesome Rice sports weekend: eight contests in five sports within 32 hours
The next 36 hours could be one of the most exciting times on campus this year:

Saturday
10AM to c. 8:30 PM: Men's and women's track in Victor Lopez Classic (honoring one of the most revered coaches in Rice history)
11 AM: Introduction of Scott Pera as men's basketball head coach
11 AM: Men's tennis v Denver in Rice Invitational round robin
1 PM: Baseball v FIU
c. 4 PM: Baseball v FIU
5 PM: Men's tennis v UNLV in Rice Invitational round robin

Sunday
12 PM: Men's tennis v TAMU-CC in Rice Invitational round robin
1 PM: Baseball v FIU
4 PM: Women's basketball v UNC Greensboro in WBI championship
