He was looked at and offered. Some here even compared him to CP3. He has been serviceable at Florida, and probably would have done well here. Just too small.

I've never said he wasn't "any good" ever. Some college coaches say he isn't big enough. That's good enough for me.

It really sucks to watch Memphis talent playing well for other teams in the tournament. What coulda been...

The FedEx Forum hosting the Sweet Sixteen for the Southern regional has been explosive and exciting to watch! Recruits can envision playing for Memphis in an NBA arena set with all the amenities. Fantastic exposure for Memphis. Can hardly wait to see the showdown war between UNC & Kentucky. Calipari's a hell of a coach and I have enough class to appreciate what he did while he was here for Memphis. Mature adults accept it and move forward.

Kentucky looks and plays like a team that could possibly win it all if last night's performance was any indication. How in the hell did we not land Memphis own Chiozza? If I remember correctly he was not considered a priority to Pastner at the time. I think the kid had a major interest to play for Memphis too! Yet, one of countless poor decisions made by the beloved JP.

But truly it is sad because he would have come to Memphis but by the time Memphis got serious the family felt slighted by their lack of commitment early. Probably was best he went to Florida, he would have been misused here.
