UNC-CH......& Campbell only NC teams left!
Okay I know UNC is big time college basketball but my neighbors over in Buies Creek are still playing too. The Camels are on a run. After finishing 7th in the Big South they won their way into the conference championship game and were 17-17 when they got the CIT invite. They have won two home games to reach the quarter finals. They are leading the CIT in attendance and play Furman Saturday afternoon. I've been to each of the CIT games and let me tell you they have a guard that is great to watch. Chris Clemons is a sophomore from Raleigh that is the third leading scorer in the nation at 25 points a game. He has been averaging 30 plus in the post season. But he isn't a ball hog, in fact at the end of the game it is really surprising that he has scored so much. The team as a whole has really come together in March. They move the ball around, other players step up and they play some good defense. They are fun to watch. If they make it into the semis with a win tomorrow the next games will be televised so check em out. If you are in central or eastern NC the game is at 2pm so come on over to Harnett County and check it out in person.
