Doesn't mean anything. Trumpers are Trumpers now.

Well Obama failed a lot of promises, as did Bush, and Clinton, and Bush, .....

Campaign promises fail all the time. The difference is that Trump let us all know that his negotiation and leadership skills are unparalleled and would get him everything he wants. He only wins.

It sure won't sway me. I won't vote for the Demons. The days of moderate Demons is over, they're all in cahoots with the evil one.

I don't expect it to sway anyone. It's completely human to see the opposition as the exact opposite of how virtuous your side is. It's like how a Miami football fan saying that Florida State supports cheaters. It's pot meeting kettle and saying "GD you're black as f**k", while going around looking like Manute Bol himself. IMO, he's the same as those you don't support. We're now on year 9 of a president completely over their head.

Trump was not lying when he said that he could walk in the middle of NYC and shoot someone and still not lose supporters. Obama had a cult of personality, but Trump has one that's impenetrable because, unlike Obama supporters, they're angry.

I didn't say it's not unheard of, I just think Trump turned it up to 1,000. If he made the same speech he would've thrown in how he did it all because of him and that it would have America loving him for it.

Perception isn't going to let us agree on this.

I'm sure it won't... From where I sit President Obama's "This is when the earth starts healing" gives President Whitmore's "We’re going to live on! We’re going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!" speech.

I can see how you come to that conclusion. If he ended that statement with, "Because of me and my ability to make the biggest, most impressive deals," then it'd be a patented Trump statement.

But with Trump it's "leadership".
