The weather doesn't look awful (there is a PGA event today in Austin and I don't think they've even had a weather delay) but the wind is supposed to pick up tonight even if there isn't much rain. Since the weekend is supposed to be perfect, it's probably a good decision.

We seem to have had a lot of weekend rain in Houston this spring during the baseball games.

What will this do to the Victor Lopez Classic?

I don't think it's rained a lick yet today. And it may not either. There will however be a TON of wind-aided long jumps (or maybe some horrible jumps against the wind). It is incredibly windy right now.

There are VERY ominous clouds hovering over campus and the Med Center at the moment, and the winds are gusting 25+ MPH.

Fungo golf in the outfield was a lot harder today than usual. I will say it was very dry though.

The rain has started (and subsequently stopped) in Spring. Looks like it could start up again at any time.

And the wind is howling, still from the south/southeast it appears.
