Will Peters have 4 years of eligibility? He never played for Illinois.

RE: Spring Game at 11 open to Public in GLASS BOWL
I posted before the practice started while there was 100 or so recruits and their families on the field. Probably 800 showed up. The scoreboard showed WMU beating Toledo during the first half... IMO if you aren't going to go al out, don't do it at all. Timing with rock the arena was bad.

So, who is 36 that made the nice TD catch? There's no 36 listed on the roster, and I couldn't quite make out the name on the jersey in the highlight video.

I believe it was true freshman Chioke Bradley 6'4" 240 lbs from Mansfied.

-Candle was behind each offense and pretty much let the coaches handle the spirited game which was won by Woodsides team 25-13
-Woodside looked very impressive with confident passes with lots on them. He took his team down the field in 1:45 for the second score that was fun to watch...I thought #19 Dionte Johnson looked fast and strong, got behind D a couple times, he was red shirted last year with injury.
- Cody Thompson had the best game with several spectacular catches he went high for including a TD.
-Chris Green played but had a heavy knee brace on. Didnt look fast or physical, I followed him a few plays he has a ways to go to get on field.
-Transfer Peters and Julian are neck and neck for back up, they looked good
-Swanson didnt play much but Seymore ran hard
-#whoever 36 is caught a touchdown and seemed to excite people... perhaps a tightend
- Overall I was impressed with the hitting and enthusiasm, the winning coach took a gatorade bath

Anyone to get excited about on the Defensive side of the ball? If not, we can expect another November collapse and second place finish in the West.

Could not identify DE Maryland transfer as some jerseys had no name . Rs Eldrick Mathews made some plays from DE and was excitable. Could not identify Felder either.
.... Ross and Childress played a lot and looked improved, M Moore as big as ever. rushing yards were hard to come by

BTW Green Norwood was lining up at DE...I honestly think we looked more physical. There had to be 8 sacks (whistle blown) so someone was bringing the heat. As spring games go I thought they looked sharp.

Maybe its just me but we seem to be loaded at WR. Player after player looked fast and caught the ball... not sure Jon Vea played.

It would seem there was some sort of flux reversal in the time warp continueum

Yeah, Dad was the Falcon DB from the '90's. Chioke II played OL under
Sr. then switched to TE his last year. He was probably under recruited.

I checked it out- the frambulator was under-capacitated so Dad had ratcheted it up to 113.72 gmb. The extra torqulon allowed him to make better decisions for his son than he made for himself.

There we go. A transfer from Findlay that somehow suited up for the Rockets last season but we're just now hearing about him. Okay, got it!

It's obvious what an extra quart of torqulon can do.

We have him listed at 6-4. Findlay has him listed at 6-2. Looks like a LB to me. Could be a interesting FB, too.
HM All District, 2nd Team All-League. Findlay College site says he did not see action. Look like is father is HC at Mansfield Senior.

This is just a guess at this stage, but I believe Julian will be the number 1 backup to Woodside this year and Peters will be the #1 QB next season.
