NIT
All the number one seeds are out. Bakersfield, beat #1 Cal, and leads Colorado State by 20 at the half. If they win, UTA as a 6th seed will host (Bakersfield is the 8th seed), for a chance to go to the final 4 at the Garden. UTA should have been in the NCAA tourney. They have a real shot at winning the NIT. Would be pretty cool for our league, if they do, although I don't know how many folks care who wins the NIT. Still, about half the NIT field is better than the last 16 teams in the NCAA tournament.
