NCAA only selects their top 36 choices as 32 of the teams get auto invites for winning their conf tournament over 3-4 days, regardless what their record or RPI were during the season...Hence why so many low rates teams get bids in the tournament.

Not a newbie, those other teams got there before you did. There are 68 teams in THE tournament, all other tourneys are irrelevant. Was there when UC won its first Title, win a real tourney game before you start criticizing me. Lighten up, Francis. UCF playing in NIT belongs on a UCF board.

Or your comment was bull****. It's funny how certain fans want to poo poo anyone who has success outside of their alma mater.

I thought the 69 thing was funny...

And you took it in the context in which I wrote it, UC gets to hang a Sweet Seventeen banner. This started in Cincy when Xavier made its first elite eight and was the last team beaten and all they talked about was how they made the Final Five. Good luck to UCF in the future, seems like some people are somewhat touchy.

I thought it was funny too FWIW

Can we hang the banner with our 3/4 size championship rings?

Unclaimed UCF Season Tix Seats were released to the Public just after 5 pm...and by 5 30 pm...almost all were gone!

UCF is expecting a near record crowd and a hard sellout for their game vs Illinois tomorrow night.

Here are the only tickets available now:

All I know is, it is good seeing UCF playing in mid to late March. Go Knights.

Check out the long line for the limited student tickets available for tonights game (donated $$$ from alumni made this possible).

UCF player Chad Brown thanks students for waiting in line for tickets this AM.

Probably gonna be a hard sellout, the way things are looking, the first in the arena's history (since opening in 2006?)

Top attendance (thanks to KL):

1) 9,825 vs Memphis, Jan 10, 2009
2) 9,460 vs Marshall, Jan 13, 2010

Gonna be a huge student turnout. I'm jealous I can't go.

What was interesting about those 2 top crowds in UCF's 9,400 seat arena is that a large number of those attending were students (probably 3,500-4,000 plus for Memphis game and 3,500 plus for Marshall game).

Student attendance for tonight's game will be more limited as UCF "sold" tickets in normal student overflow sections so maybe only 2,000 students will be inside for tonight's most likely sold out game.
