Illinois State had a hell of a lot of calls go their way all game long. They were swinging like they had unlimited fouls too. Glad to have that one go our way.

That's a foul 100% of the time. He didn't have defensive positioning and he inhibited the dribbler's movement. Not sure why people are freaking out.

It was a really, really, really stupid play on the ISU guy's part.

Even BJ Taylor could not have overcome the downward slope and gameday coaching chops of DJ. The most frustrating part of the DJ tenure was that it proved the Marshall fans right.

Exactly...and BJ knew it.

ISU player did not have position and BJ knew he could get the call (double foul per NIT rule with 5 or more fouls in the 2nd part of the 2nd half, i.e. last 10 mins...same reason why ISU player got 2 foul shots on BJ's personal foul with 4 seconds left).

NIT did get UCF its first Charter Flight of the season...so the team will be back home by 2 AM or so and start resting up for Wed night.

Unlike many other AAC Hoop Teams...UCF has always had to fly commercial ("we broke") which mean most road games were 3 day trips...even for day games. (UCF played a 12:30 pm tip in Tulsa on a Sunday...couldn't get a late afternoon connection thru STL or Dallas and UCF had to fly home Monday).
