In a nutshell Rogers and Comey can't comment on ANY specifics (as expected). They can't comment on a link to Russia. Basically all they can say is that what Trump said on the wiretaps was irresponsible or untrue.

So where did the FISA request come from? That's the bottom line really. If Obama didn't order it who the hell did?

Comey - NSA, FBI, CIA... white house can request but can't do the actual act of unmasking. Essentially the white house has the power they'd need.

Loretta Lynch would have had that power also.

Why wouldn't pubs focus on leaks? Are such leaks a federal crime? Of course, I guess if you use the offline server in the basement used to store and transmit classified documents as the baseline, then yeah, why bother.

I understand all that. I just know how this will be spun. In the literally interpretation what Trump says isn't true.

It's going to hurt because the media will quote that without further questioning WHERE the requests came from. It wasn't a literal "wire tap of Trump" himself but based on the ongoing questioning it's clear that monitoring of multiple people on Trump's team occurred.

Where the hell did the requests and leaks to press come from and why? This still hasn't been answered.

Megalomanaia I have no problem with. Paranoia, perhaps, but in most cases it's warranted as his opponents on both sides of the aisle want to see him fail and will do almost anything, even breaking the law to see it.

Fortunately, he's Trump, he's the President, and I believe we'll learn that in one form or another residence was under surveillance and information gained from that surveillance was leaked by the White House to the Hillary campaign in order to try to influence the outcome of the election.
