Does anyone know if there is going to be a spring football game open to the public? I know the last year or 2 they did not publicize a game (and / or didn't have one) but I'm really hoping they have one this year.

No plans for a game. One of my students covers the team.

I don't know if a spring game would make much difference in the performance of the team or not, but looking at how bad they have been the past few years they might want to try something different.

Why have they stopped these games? Do they lose money on them?

They lose money just by turning on the lights.

KSU 93, I recall several years ago, at least twenty years ago, when the schedule was 11 games, if you played at game at Hawaii you were allowed to schedule a 12th game, a home game, to help recoup the expense of traveling to Hawaii. That one year Kent State declined to schedule that extra home game and said it was because they lose money every time they play at home.

Anyone hear how spring practice went? I believe it ended today or yesterday, but not sure.
