It's been 8 years, folks.
Move on.
So time heals—we should forget about how Cal treated our program. You can move on, that is your right. However, I have my rights and can handle this the way we I want, and we would both be totally in our rights.
If you don't accept your faith in doing something not correct, then I have issues with that, regardless of the time that has elasped.
I am not the least upset about him leaving for UK, heck I would leave my job today for more money and a more prestigious job. However, I am still upset that he claimed the issue with our probation was a University issue and he was innocent. As one prominent ESPN analyst at the time wrote, “it is very uncharacteristic for the NCAA to apply sanctions to a University and not hold the head coach accountable for lack of control, since it is their responsibility to monitor a program. Only Cal can get away with this”.
Go “whoever plays Kentucky” ! I root for the U of M and whoever is playing a Cal coached team-- my right to execute as a law abiding US citizen. Thanks and God bless.

The building will full of KY fans. I doubt there will many Tiger fans in the building. If I had tickets I would do down to the forum and cash in on some KY fans wo them. Honestly its only a story here, I doubt the national media cares and that probably goes for the rest of the country as well.

^^^^This. Nobody outside of Memphis cares. Least of all Cal...This is only a story here.
Cal was a slightly better than average coach TBH. Still is considering the level of success compared to massive level of talent. His recruiting system is the key and his salesmanship. The man got himself into the HOF while being the slime king of kings.
