How fun was that?
While I was hoping for a blow-out, what could be better than the piggies blowing a 5 point lead in the last couple of minutes and letting the Heels go on a 12 point run to end
the game.
The little piggies do deserve some credit for staying with the Heels (they had me sweating), but that was a choke job for the ages!

Unfortunately the Trojans choked today to evidently. But I think we played'em closer than the Lady Hogs did. As Foley said in the pre-game interview, the larger programs have bigger and sometimes stronger players, and a little better talent, and it usually shows up in close games. It did.

You got another great example from Wally Small this morning of how the Hogs never really lose but just get screwed by the refs!

Yes, there is obviously a nationwide conspiracy against the pigs. Wally's column was so predictable.

I love how swine fans always point to the foul deferential when they lose. A team that plays pressure, pressing, rag-tag defense, and falls behind by 17 points is going to foul more than a team that plays solid "traditional" defense. Did I miss the rule that says refs have to make sure the number of fouls they call on each team is the same? More fouls are called on the hogs because they foul more. Not rocket science and not a conspiracy among officials.

And I sure didn't hear anything about the cheating refs when that ridiculous flagrant foul was called on Seton Hall to hand the game to the Hogs. Naw, don't you know that only the bad calls go against the Hogs! And all the calls that go in their favor are good calls!
