Add Bartow and Few. Cal is a psychopath. There is winning and then there is....cheating.
One thing that won't be in the Forum that was here before he left...that he also indirectly stole....our BANNER.
F him. It's a damn good thing I won't be in the city next week.

We do hate him and Kentucky. I hope they lose the first game and by a large margin. Duke lost so Kentucky can lose also.

He is staying with Fred Smith. A nice place to stay.

I guess that's what makes a casual fan a casual fan, but wow, I can't imagine not being interested.

RE: Get ready...
Earlier today I was listening to Jason Smith and that other guy (can't think of his name) interviewing Mike Decoursey (spelling?). They kept talking about how Tiger fans shouldn't hate Cal just because he left for a better job at Kentucky, saying how we ought be grateful for what all he did for the Tiger program (which he did), but never addressed the real reason why Memphians and Tiger fans think he's a piece of crap. They never addressed the fact why we feel that way is, the way he left the program. The way he lied about wanting to be here, "this is the place I want to be", yea, and off to Kentucky the next day. The way he was contacting Tiger recruits to follow him to Kentucky, lied about it and said he didn't. The fact we were put on probation right after he left, with him coming out of it smelling like a rose, only the University felt the brunt of the NCAA sanctions You'd think those clowns, being local would know that, but no, they kept agreeing with Decoursey and blabbering on about how thankful Tiger fans ought to be for St.John. Memphis sports talk radio, gotta love it.... And they never did mention the deal about our snow cone machine came up missing.

Anyone hanging their hat on that being a reason to hate Calipari is just burying their head in the sand about coaches and jobs.

Lipman, RC Cola and Surely folded before the NCAA like a cheap suit.

Guess that's why he is in HOF and Tubby isn't.
I think Tubby's 30-17 in the tournament. Cal is something like 50-16. There's no comparison between the two as far as tournament success goes. The only thing Tubby has over Cal in that regard is taking 5 teams to the dance as opposed to Cal's 3. Now, if you want to talk about anything related to character . . . let's just say Cal ain't gettin' in that Hall of Fame.

This happens so often at many different schools and in all sports, at least the ones generating revenue. I think as a fan you don't want the coach to say anything BUT that. I wouldn't begrudge any coach from exploring other jobs but I would hope when they do they do it quietly. If a rumor surfaced that said coach was talking with another school can you imagine the chaos with the team and recruits if he confirmed the rumor was true? It's better to wait until the deal is done before saying anything. It sucks for us as fans but the putting it out there early scenario would be worse.

John Calipari was joined onstage by 64 of his former players during his Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame induction on Friday night.
Calipari gave most of the credit behind his success to his players.
“The reason I stand here is more about the players I've coached,” Calipari said. “I never grabbed a rebound, I never scored a point, I never had an assist.”

Smith will agree with anybody about anything. He can't stand to disagree with guests.
But CLEARLY, Tiger fans were NOT upset that Cal left for Kentucky. (It was a prime job, most got it) It was the one step ahead of the NCAA that was hard to take. And then the whole roster got blown up. That's about it. Most everyone I know has moved on. Talk radio and guests have to fill time.
