Really nice game by Grigsby (and Goodwine). We pretty much emptied the bench for the whole 4th quarter. UTRGV wasn't nearly as good as Lamar but it didn't help them they were in serious foul trouble the whole game and then their best player got hurt.

Reiterating what I said in the other thread, Rice now plays the winner of the Idaho at Eastern Washington game (which is tomorrow night) in the tournament semifinals on Thursday night. Milwaukee is at UNC-Greensboro in the other semis. From what I understand, if Eastern Washington wins tomorrow, we will play up there on Thursday. If Idaho wins, we'll host Thursday.

BTW we had 430 at today's game (and again like Lamar, a decent amount of the fans were cheering for the other team). It was pretty sad the other team had its cheerleaders but we did not have our cheerleaders. I really hope everyone (band, cheerleaders and students) are there tomorrow night.

That assures the next game will be an away game for the ladies.

If today was the last day of spring break, hopefully more folks would show up for another game if Rice hosts.

I just noticed both these schools came from the same conference. Not much prestige playing in the CBI but I guess it gives the players an extended season.

Idaho won. I think that means we host the semis on Thursday. Unless the tournament officials change their mind.
