RIP USMmmm
Our friend USMmmm from Eagle Post passed into glory late Friday night. He was a great Southern Miss supporter and a man who lived his interesting life in full. He was quick to debate and argue and was usually right. He was a preacher without a pulpit and an example for us all to follow. They don't make many like him. Godspeed and well done, old padnah.

I am disappointed to read this one. Edd was a fine gentleman. I always enjoyed his tailgate visits and internet banter. He will be missed by me and many, many others.

This breaks my heart. I loved that guy. He was comfortable & competent talking about most any topic under the sun. A lot of what I know about Southern Miss' history prior to my arrival on campus, I learned from him.

Rest in peace, Edd. I'll be raising a glass to you at the first home football game.

I'm guessing he'd not been in good health for a while. I wondered why I had not seen him around. I spoke with him on a couple of occasions at the EP tailgate during the Fedora days, seemed like a good guy. Had some debates with him on EP as well. May the Lord bless his soul.

So sad to hear about Edd's passing. Had a lot of great constrains with him along the years. I hope his family can find some peace during this time.

That's how everyone in H'burg knows him (although his Dad was a popular minister)....he was a news anchor at W-DAMN for years....on the other hand, the Jussley brothers were always well-known because their ages were so spread out, therefore the brothers practically went to school with everyone!

RE: RIP USMmmm
Long time Eagle Club member - Edd Jussely passed away Friday, March 17th. Edd was an engaging personality who always had time to talk about Southern Miss sports. The members of the Central Mississippi Eagle Club will miss him and will keep his family in our prayers as we all mourn his passing. Below is Edd's obituary.

Edward Armstrong Jussely, Jr., of Brandon, MS, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017. Edd was born on August 27, 1946 to the late Rev. Edward and Winnie Jussely of Hattiesburg. He graduated from Hattiesburg High School and attended USM in the school of journalism and communication. Edd remained an avid Golden Eagle fan throughout his life.

He began his career in public relations and communication at the age of 13, working for WBKH radio in Hattiesburg. That beginning led to a career in television broadcasting and newspaper writing. He also served as the public relations and affairs spokesperson for MS Highway Safety Patrol and MP&L (Entergy).

Edd’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Gail McCoy Jussely, of Brandon, MS, daughter, Kristy Partrick of Madison, MS, son, Eddie Jussely and his wife Yai of Lake Park, GA, his other son Glenn Partrick of Madison, MS, and his beloved granddaughters, Nicole Partrick and Morgan Partrick. He is also survived by his brother, Dr. David Jussely and his wife Andrea of Hattiesburg, MS and their children and grandchildren, his brother Dr. Steve Jussely and his wife Carol of Brandon, MS and their children.
