I think we have a great shot at getting out of this region, Harvard may be a very good team but they dont play nearly the tough schedule like the Broncos do.

Excited for Friday! Just hope this team put this past weekend behind them because it was a disappointment. I am glad we are playing the late game on friday so that I am able to watch!

We've played Harvard previously in the NCAA's, a few decades ago as I recall. They won. Time to set things a'right!

For those who haven't seen it yet, Here is the NCAA Bracket.

Favorable draw for us but NO GAME is easy in the NCAA tournament. Might explain why we have yet to win a game there. Perhaps this is the year that we break through.

When asked about the health of his team on the selection show, Andy simply said, "We'll dress 20 on Friday." 03-lmfao Good answer.

Wade Allison going to be back? Who else? Thoughts?

Boy, I have been out east so many weekends this year to see my son, and it's too bad I won't be out there this weekend. I would love to see that game, particularly against Air Force. I watched them play Army at West Point earlier in the year.

I don't think we could have a better draw, other than being way out east. I was thinking we might land in Cincinnati, but no complaints. Air Force has a much longer trip. We cave a couple good east teams. Harvard is always good and this year they are very good.

The east schools have really dominated the championship over the last decade. We need to change that.

Bring it on, I'd rather play airforce than providence in providence. I like our chances for a frozen four.

Here's what I think happens. WMU beats air force, Haaaaavaaaad beats Providence, and all the providence fans left over for the regional finals root for WMU and the broncos go to the frozen 4.

We need Dries on skates Friday... even at less than 100% he seems to bring an energy to and from this team... he's like Ian Slater... the pulse of this group...

Hate we have the ESPN3 game

With Allison and Dries, I like our chances of a Frozen 4. Without, makes me nervous

Not taking Air Force for granted but it looks like a good opening draw for the Broncos. WMU needs to win after finishing fourth in the NCHC Tourney and to finally win an NCAA tourney game. At least they don't have to face Duluth, N. Dakota, or Denver in that Regional.

I remember them playing Harvard. I think the Crimson had at least one or two guys who ended up playing in the NHL.

Not sure why Dries didn't play in the Frozen Faceoff after he played in the Sunday game vs. Omaha.

Good comparison between Dries and Slater. Too bad Friday's game is on ESPN3 but, if they beat Air Force, probably the Regional Final will be on one of the ESPN channels.

I think Andy was resting him for the important games.

RE: NCAA Hockey Selection Show
Too much focus on Dries and Allison in/out of the line up. Don't get me wrong, they are very good players and I do hope they will be able to get back into the line up soon.

The difference this year is how "collectively" the team has played together. I've seen games were Allison and Dries have made some significant contributions. I've also seen games this year where others have done the same.

WMU will fine no matter who is in the line up come Friday night and what ever team is out their is good enough to beat Air Force. As far as I'm concerned, it's a one game tournament and there is no Saturday game. And nobody should be looking past Air Force, as they need to look no further than Fri Nov. 18, 2016 if they need a reminder: http://www.collegehockeynews.com/box/fin...8/afa/wmu/

I think Dries is very important to this team. I really hope Murray was just being conservative this past weekend.

Dries is a very good player, but this "team" is a lot more than just one player. It will be great if he is in the line up, but if he is not, they will be fine with out him
