70sHawk Daily Coaching Search Historical References
It's been a whole 4-5 days since we started our search for the new coach. I would like to request some daily historical references from 70sHawk that tie to the number of days our search has taken.

When is it ok for those to start? 7 days? 30 days? 60 days? Those got us through some tough times after Bennie's departure. Too bad it was just the beginning of tougher times.

This will be wrapped up soon, so no need for "historical" references.

Hah! I think he's referring to the infamous Rosemary DePaulo/Kelly Merthens coaching search that went on...and on...and on...and on.

Old 70s took it upon himself to start comparing how long various noteworthy historical events took to achieve vs the # of days taken to that date in their feckless search process. It got to be a fun daily exercise to see what mighty historical achievement that could be found that had happened in fewer days than Rosemary and Kelly had taken to find a replacement for Benny Moss.

In this case, I agree with 82 Hawk. It's A) a tad early to start that sort of thing, and B) I actually respect our current AD and Chancellor.

I'm not about to start throwing shade on the coaching search by the man who hired Kevin Keatts. His batting record seems pretty good to me.

I agree and certainly don't really want you start again. I completely trust this administration. I was just thinking about your posts and tried digging them up with no luck. Those were a ray of light in my darkest UNCW days. Talk about a disaster. Those times help me keep things in perspective.

That was back in the days of the CAAZone.
