Pitt looks at SF again?
Could the second time be the charm for SF at Pitt? Any chance he'd be willing to do a home and away with the Huskies? What are the odds you'd have two minorities named Frazier competing for the same job? Arizona State hired CMU's AD, could EMU's AD get hired at a football school when the Eagles' program is considered second-rate in comparison to NIU's? Outside of warmer weather, doesn't the Dog Pound believe Huskies would chew up and spit out an OWL?

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette article: http://www.post-gazette.com/sports/Pitt/...1703170232

More than a month and a half since chancellor Patrick Gallagher formed his search committee, it sounds as if there has been some movement behind the scenes, with a few names emerging for the vacancy atop Pitt’s athletic department.
Fifth-year Florida Atlantic athletic director Patrick Chun and fourth-year Eastern Michigan athletic director Heather Lyke have been considered as candidates, or are still in the discussion, according to a source. Two other possibilities previously reported by Panther-Lair.com are fourth-year Northern Illinois athletic director Sean T. Frazier and Syracuse senior deputy director of athletics Herman Frazier.
Chun and Lyke are both Ohio natives who held high-level positions in the athletic department at Ohio State under longtime athletic director Gene Smith. Chun is also an Ohio State graduate who earned his master’s degree from Duquesne, while Lyke is a Michigan alumnus with a law degree from Akron.
If the hiring process is anything like last time around, Pitt could name an athletic director sometime in the next month or so.
Assisted in the process by the DHR International search firm, it appears Pitt may be set on hiring a sitting athletic director from another school. Randy Juhl has been Pitt’s acting athletic director since Jan. 10, a few weeks after Scott Barnes accepted the same position at Oregon State.
In 2015, Pitt announced the Barnes hire April 24, a little more than four months after Steve Pederson was dismissed in mid-December. Barnes’ name first surfaced about 10 days earlier, and Sean Frazier was also reportedly a candidate then, as well.
