If there is a pecking order for AAC teams in waiting, I think WSU went to the front of the line today. BTW the city of Wichita will host an NCAA 1st/2nd round regional next year in the Intrust Bank Arena which is their alternate basketball arena for games they want to play in it. 15,000 seats instead of the 10,500 at Koch Arena. Hopefully we can get an AAC team or two in that as well.

Really? At least UCONN manages a win in the tournament, something SMU has no knowledge of. I figured after a couple if years together as conference mates, our winning ways would rub off on schools such as yours. Apparently only Cincinnati was able to learn our winning ways.

One other thing about WSU's win yesterday was that Dayton was sent to Indianapolis which is only 115 miles away and WSU is over 750. So the committee really did no favors to them or their fans. That game was basically a home game for Dayton. Its obvious the better team won. So now WSU is 31-4 and still playing. Pretty good year for a 10 seed. The question now may be - does WSU need the AAC more than the AAC needs them?
