Home Games: 0.6
Neutral Site: 1.0
Road Games: 1.4
Winning road games especially vs any good team will help your SOS shoot up.

Gregg Marshall the HC at Wichita spent one yr. as an assistant @Belmont Abbey
The OOC opponents ECU plays look like the practice opponents for UConn WBB.
In fairness, UCONNs women are better than ECUs men.

Playing some top teams doesn't make up for playing some truly awful teams. Unfortunately you don't always know how good any particular team will be going into the season. TU fans were up in arms about losing the opener to Jacksonville State but they went on to win their conference and play in the tourney. We still shouldn't have lost to them but it wasn't the disaster people thought it was at the time.
That's very true. Have to avoid bad teams.
And if you look at the names on Tulane schedule it was not an attempt to play a bunch of cupcakes. I'm not sure how it came out to be so low but it really was a fluke considering the teams we played. The biggest concern was winning six games ...
