USA has found some offense as well and leads GS 13-2, game in the bottom of the 5th. It looks like USA will win to even the series.

AState and ULM split a doubleheader today. Warhawks took game 1 5-3 and AState took game 2 12-6. Rubber Match is tomorrow.

USA wins game two with GS 19-6. The rubber game is tomorrow.

I know it's early, but if App finishes with a winning record or .500, Kermit should be unanimous COTY.

This is basically the same roster as last year, minus 3-4 key players and plugging in freshman to those spots.

9-10 record with only one home game so far is a small miracle.

This was stunning. Watched it and still don't believe it happened. So far this year the Apps haven't been able to hit their way out of a wet paper bag. BTW, great atmosphere at the ball park. The music guy is awesome and playing/singing Center Field during the stretch is really neat.

Saw some App State fans at a breakfast taco place in New Braunfels, assuming they're here for the softball series. Nice to see traveling fans.

I liked your guys at the plate yesterday. We've struggled with our hitting all year leaving way too many on base. Have to say that may be the most difficulty Lee has has with control in his two years. He'll give up some hits but he isnt typically a pitcher with control issues.

I appreciate the free stream of the game from ULL.

I'll reiterate what has been said, I've been really impressed with the presentation on the free stream as well as everything else I've seen from Cajun baseball so far. Seems like a great atmosphere and I'd love to get down there for a series soon.
