I think we should finish it once and for all with a fist fight, what say you?

We gotta be drunk first.

An Irishman wouldn't fight any other way!

The Irish make whiskey; the Scots make whisky.

Aigh, force of habit.

Scots are just Irish who left and settled Northern Britannia. That's why they share similar names and traditions.

We're a mix of Gaels and Picts, two sets of crazy awesomeness.

Based on my last name, I think I'm with the little one on the far right.

I come from a long line of mutts. Mostly a mix of English, Scottish, German, Cherokee and dash of Irish. Last name is an English word.
My son got all the same way with a dash of Bavarian / French.

Yep. The Irish and Scots have a zest for life and fun that seems to be inherently theirs. Must come from their common heritage, ancestry, and shared oppression and thus loathing of the Brits.

Irish, Scottish, English (Mayflower) and Cajun (which is most commonly but not always Native American, African and French)

Basically I've been at war with myself for centuries, which is reason enough to drink

One of my favorite trips was a few days in England, flying to Cork... driving through Midleton (and picking up a case of 'very rare') on the way to Waterford Castle

There's a Gaelic town there on the water whose name i forget. Accents were AMAZING!!

The wild spirit of freedom hasn't left us yet no matter how hard those damn English try.
