Kareem Brewton looks like a good guard
He plays at Eastern Florida SC. Scores with ease, handles the ball well, shoots well!

Good size, good numbers.

3PT % fell off the map his SO year but if he can combo and play multiple roles then cool.

Brewton is being recruited by dozens of schools including Ohio State, Illinois, Memphis and Gonzaga. The sophomore from Claxton, Ga., has led the Titans to a 26-4 record and a sixth straight Southern Conference title, heading into the Region VIII tournament as one of the favorites.

Make him priority #1.... He is worth it.... Bring the DAYUM coach with him, as WE also have an assistant position available, put pressure on everyone including Saul!!!! This kid is a FREAKING WINNER and this move would reson8!!!!! Give me him and the 7ft kid from GA!!!! and I would kill the AAC next year and the NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP the year after..... with or without the Lawson's....but with those two and the Lawson's.....We would be in the Hunt for a Championship next year, so as long as they DON'T kill the team moral!!! 03-idea 05-stirthepot 05-mafia 04-rock 03-cloud907-coffee3

RE: Kareem Brewton looks like a good guard
The problem with late period recruiting when you aren't John Calipari or Coach K is that it's now a mad dash for a lot of schools and players. Guys like Ondigo go from having mid-major offers to P5 offers overnight, etc. I mean, if Ondigo would've stayed wide open for another month, he probably would've gotten an even better offer than Purdue.

Add to that all the coaching changes and new coaches scrambling to fill out rosters and guys like Brewton and Davenport and the like are going to be hot commodities.

It would be nice before it gets any crazier to start getting some commits.

He retweeted Memphis Basketball's tweet a few days ago.

Either way, looks like a solid kid.

RE: Kareem Brewton looks like a good guard
I just watched Kareem Brewton in the championship game. Unfortunately for him and his team he got hurt in the game. He hurt his ankle pretty bad. His team lost by more than 20. I started watching with 8:00 minutes to go in the game and Kareem's team was down by 18 or so and Kareem was already out of the game. At that point I didn't know why he wasn't playing. I assumed he had fouled out or may have been hurt. Sure enough at the end of the game they showed the trophy ceremony and Kareem made the all tournament team and his teammates had to help him walk out there that get his trophy. Too bad, I wanted to watch him and see what kind of player he was/is.

On another note Chris Darrington and Kareem Brewton will be visiting Memphis alongside Kyvon Davenport this weekend.
