SC's got the #2 defense in the country per KenPom and has been in the top 50 the last 3 years. Frank Martin turned them around by making them defensive fiends.

The SC defense is fantastic, but the FL defense isn't shabby either, at least today.

Not at all, I'm just impressed with what Martin's done. Instead of sending the team overseas can we send Shaver to watch Martin coach defense? The ROI would be better.

Martin has really upped SC's level of play with his D. I was also impressed with the halftime adjustment to their offense.

Wait, wait, hopefully their defense is not THAT good -- I picked Gonzaga to go all the way. They play S.C. next.

Gonzaga was #1 defensively in KenPom and a whole lot better offensively. Not that it matters a whole lot.

All 4 teams remaining are top 20 defensive teams, while all but SC are top 20 offensively (and SC's offense has clicked since the 2nd half of the Duke game). It's almost like you have to be solid on both sides of the court to accomplish anything in this here sport.

I also picked Gonzaga to win it all. They are the only one of my final 4 left...

Both games today were great.

UNC's defense was pretty good against UK today, but they're still hit or miss on offense. Today they were hit.

Know this isn't the right place but no need for another thread

Did anyone notice the NIT? No 1 seeds made the quarters and the Final Four is 4 UCF vs. 4 TCU and 6 Georgia Tech vs. 8 Cal State Bakersfield.
