Zach to work out for Leo's
With the promotion of Ruddock to backup QB, the Lions are in need of a #3 QB. i just heard on 97.1 that they are interested in seeing Zach Terrell. although I feel sorry for anyone that toils with the Leo's, this may be a good starting point for his pro career. We all hope he just gets a shot.

Even if Zach only make the practice squad, that is still good $. Not gonna get rich off it, but good $ still, particularly for someone fresh out of college:
"Practice squad players earn significantly less than players on the active roster, but they still take home a solid weekly paycheck. NFL practice squad players make a minimum of $6,900 per week that they are on the practice squad.
If a player remains on the practice squad for an entire regular season (at a minimum salary of $6,900 per week), he would earn a minimum of $117,300 over the full regular season if he keeps his spot on the practice squad. If a team makes the playoffs, these payments continue for as long as the team is in the playoffs."

Patriot's backup QB's get contracts later from other teams. It seems like the value of the Patriot dollar today is worth more than the Lion.

Also, if you're in the Practice Squad you get plenty of opportunities to show your stuff to the coaches. Somewhere down the line you may work your way into the active roster.
