Sticky Fingers has a mustard base in the grocery stores here which is pretty good.

I haven't had that since last time I was in Chatanooga, which was YEARS ago. I'm guessing it was 2008. Where does time go?

Some more gasoline for the fire....

Yellow or white(?) coleslaw?

Do you put coleslaw on top of the BBQ? (This probably only applies to pulled pork.)

White.

Yes, but only about a spoonful - the rest I eat with a fork.

I prefer mustard based. However, I will occasionally get some different sauces to change things up. So, I don't have a strong allegiance to any of them; just a preference for mustard.

We have a Smokin' Pigs here in Easley that is really good. They have another location in Pendleton that I hear the ESPN folks talk about whenever they are in town for a football game.

White. I also like it a little better when it is chilled.

I'm not a fan of it on my pork. I eat it by itself.

Eastern style slaw is made with mayonnaise.
Lexington style slaw is made with barbecue sauce in place of mayonnaise and is sometimes referred to as red slaw or BBQ slaw.
Lexington style barbecue sauce is referred to as "dip".

Sandwich or plate, always have equal parts barbecue and slaw. Sides can include baked beans, boiled potatoes, fries, potato salad, green beans. Hush puppies are a must unless it is a pig pickin in which case you should always have white bread.

Why is pulled pork the only thing y,all think is BBQ? , my gosh all y,all talk about is pulled pork this and frickin pulled pork that !, I was in the Carolinas recently and hand some pulled pork sandwiches that were good. But come on ! There is a whole lot more to BBQ than pulled pork !
You can also BBQ...
Cows
Ducks
Chickens
Alligator
Anything that lives in water, fresh or salt water
The list just goes on and on and when you get near the Texas Louisiana state line BBQ really gets interesting, just don't ask what it is, just eat it, it will be good...

BBQ is pork. You are confusing grilling or cooking out with a type of food, Barbeque.
