You forget that the Russians are wiretapped, not Trump and his man. Flynn was caught up in the wiretapping because he was talking to the diplomat on the phone. So, people do get caught up by accident.

Now, the issue with Trump's server and computer? A Russian bank was doing so many access to websites and servers on the Trump's server in a short amount of time. It could be somebody was trying to hack into Trump's servers. That means the FBI would get involved, and could have gotten a warrant to go after the bank. They would want Trump to co-operate.
