Basketball team remains the only team to not disappoint when playing USM. I dont expect to win every time but this is sad.

When the bats are hot and the pitching is zoned it it's a deadly combo. However, still a lot of ball left. Need our pitchers to keep rolling. LT has enough power to get back in, we just need to throw strikes. 8-2 eagles lead b4.

And people think The Pete is a hitter-friendly yard...

Was shocked no one put one out yesterday the way these two teams swing it

No lead safe against a lineup like Tech's in that place.

I wouldn't worry too much. Our guys can rake. If we get a decent five innings from our 2 and 3 guys and someone to get the ball to Sandlin, we are really tough.

You are safe today. I wouldnt worry about blowing this lead.

If we can keep Tech at a distance, we are looking at a Sunday game up 2-0 with Sandlin fresh and available for up to four innings and Smith available before that. That takes a ton of pressure off of Keys in his first big start.

Sullivan threw 69 pitches Wednesday vs ULL so I'd imagine he's good for 50-70 pitches today.

Sheesh. Millet probably should have redshirted if possible instead of rushing back from that injury. He could have used a year to work on his control.

Sandlin will still be available tomorrow.

Hopefully Wallner will be available for an inning or 2 if they are quick ones as he threw around 30 pitches Friday

Might take away some pitches. He only pitched to two but still had to get loose and throw in the pen.

Probably two innings rather then four.

Cox said the wind was blowing in ~10mph to hime plate on Friday night.

Break out the brooms. USM up 7-0 in the 4th.

And the eagle's bats are RED HOT. USM leads 7-0 b4. May have to get the brooms out. I was seriously thinking the series would be a lot closer than this. Are we just playing really good or did something happen to LT's team this weekend?
