Getting good info that UNCW is intent on keeping our current philosophy in place for continuity of success and player retention. Fingers crossed. Also means Brownell won't be back anytime soon.

Miller was hired as their head coach at the age of 29, Siddle is 30 right now. Just sayin'.

Well. Brownell is still the coach at Clemson until further notice and we need to find a coach ASAP. But I'm glad they're looking to continue the Run, Defend, Win architecture.

And Maybe we can actually get better on the Defend portion! 04-cheers

I don't see any correlation. That simply means that another school took a risk.

Good on both counts. Big brownell fan and will be the first to say we did him wrong, but we are down a road on which his car cannot handle. I like the road we are on and hope we get another good driver that can handle the speed

RE: Well, What now?
This is not my forte but at first glance LeVelle Morton from UNC Central has run that program from a D1 Indy to a consistent MEAC champion. Knows the state and is a proven winner in a lesser conference. Would think with increased resources and a better opportunity the CAA could provide he might be a winner. No clue on his style of play though

I was on board with Moton before we hired Keatts. Great recruiting connections and a player favorite.

From everything that I've read, Siddle met with the team last night, not Keatts.

To me, it doesn't sound like Keatts has personally spoken to anyone, but Siddle met with the team to keep them focused and have an open discussion.

That's exactly the way I read everything too. It sounds to me like Keatts was already in Raleigh by 8 meeting his new squad.

Keatts did meet with the team. It was very brief. He told them he did what he had to do, asked if they had any questions for him(there were none), and he left.

FWIW, my daughter noticed very little twitter activity from the players on Keatts.

That kind of a quick departure bodes well for us keeping Bryce and Cacock.
