Go Houston and UCF!
Good luck tonight against Akron and Colorado in the NIT. The UCF/Colorado game is on ESPN3 while the Houston/Akron game is on ESPN U.

RE: Go Houston and UCF!
Attendance from last night's 1st round games. (Students at many schools are off for Spring Break, like UCF, which really hurts attendance, let alone 2-3 days only to sell Tix).

2 Illinois 82, 7 Valpo 57 (@ Illinois 4,719)
5 Ole Miss 91, 4 Monmouth 83 (@ Monmouth 1,672)
7 Oakland 74, 2 Clemson 69 (@ Clemson 2,785)
6 Georgia Tech 75, 3 Indiana 63 (@ Ga Tech 5,533)*
4 Colorado State 81, 5 Charleston 74 (@ CSU 2,836)
6 Richmond 71, 3 Alabama 64 (@ Bama 4,041)
6 Boise State 73, 3 Utah 68 (@ Utah 4,097)
8 CSU Bakersfield 72, 1 Cal 66 (@ Cal 1,778)

*Lower seed Ga Tech hosted because IU's arena is being renovated).

That's why you keep winning as the students will be back for the later rounds

BYU expects to have 7-8K tonight. There would have been considerably more, then they moved tipoff for TV from 7pm to 9pm, local time. On a weeknight. Ugh.

I hope we win and get Houston (our head coach's alma mater) in the second round!

David Rose was co-captain of Phi Slama Jama in '82-'83. If we end up playing BYU, I hope we give him a nice recognition, since we've been honoring other former players this year, especially the Phi Slama Jama frat brothers, for the end of the Hofheinz Pavilion era.

I watched the 2nd half of the Cal debacle. Score is misleading. Bakersfield spanked them...in front of a few fans....last night it seemed the lower seeds beat the higher seeds in most of the games.
Cheers!

Not really. If you host you get a little from the gate

Bakersfield gave SMU a really good game earlier this year-I think we won by about 8 at home. Turns out Bakersfield is about Top 70-75 in RPI
