I love the mentality. Wish we had more of it.

He trucks guys who are more often than not not in position or who are backing away to avoid getting a ride on the train. He's been called for more BS charges in a month than most guys get in an entire career. He's like a defensive end who comes free on a stunt on the way to the rim and a scat back dives at his ankles for a matador block.

I'm not getting into the argument about minutes and poise. At one point, not that long ago, Johnson was doing pretty well for himself. Last several he's fallen off, I trust the staff to have this team ready regardless. AS far as Cumberland goes, a lot of people talk about his scoring, which has certainly come along but not too many people talk about his defense. Which I feel like improved greatly. He doesn't get caught as often out of position, he has great anticipation of passes and surprisingly, more athleticism than you would have thought based on his HS tapes.
