Indiana is getting run out of the gym. They've burned two timeouts already in the first half.

I can see SU losing. We're really good when we care this year. We just don't always seem to care, and we're terrible when we don't care. Unfortunately, I can see us not caring about the NIT. Still, I hope we win. It would be great to roll this tourney.

What, you mean by blowing away an Indiana team with WAY more talent in a packed and loud and rocking arena?

USF will have a class act off the court. And a blooper reel on it.

RE: Open Thread - NIT
Wow, I can't believe Clemson choked away a 20 point lead at home. Could that be Brad Brownell's last game?

The NIT tried to get a Clemson-Bama matchup in round 2 and both lost. LoL. Now Richmond will be hosting Oakland at the Robins Center.

Glad the Spiders will get to play another game. I have a soft spot for Richmond since I was a ballboy for years while John Beilein was coach. My best friend's grandfather was the the head statistician for 50 years, so we had the inside scoop. Always had the best seat in the house too, right under the basket! Mopping up sweat was never more fun.

To tie this trip down memory lane back to the ACC (well, sort of), I got to see Syracuse play in Richmond in the 2002 NIT with Hakim Warrick. Man, he was a beast.

Also, congrats to Georgia Tech. Keep on winning!

The way Clemson lost tonight should be a dismissable offense.

Indiana turned down playing at home because the students are on Spring Break? REALLY?

Soooooooooo you willingly volunteered to play at Georgia Tech, which has been a graveyard for nearly EVERYBODY this year? Ooooooookay then.

Georgia Tech underseeded at a 6...CSU Bakersfield out by 21 over Cal late 1st...however, they do not look like a smart team. I think Cal makes a comeback in the 2nd.

Not only that, but he also said after the spring break excuse, "Assembly Hall is iconic. You've gotta be careful not to devalue it."

WTF?

Indiana fans are not happy with this guy, and it's not just for this. Apparently they played a "home" football game in DC against Penn State. Sounds like he's outsmarting himself.

Or, you could just go conspiracy theory and think that it was the AD testing Tom Crean, and maybe that was his last game coaching for the Hoosiers.

Belmont downs the retards from Athens. Dang. I wanted to blast them.

But this does mean GT gets another home game again ... against Belmont obviously.

Pastner said he's buying all the student tickets again. Which means the Thrillerdome will probably be rocking again. So long as GT keeps getting home court they'll probably keep winning.
