Now if they really are President Trump’s tax returns, someone broke the law.

But notice she doesn’t say which Trump or that it’s the personal tax returns.

So this could just be a ‘watch my show’ effort.

The only thing I would take issue with is the use of the word "returns" as only one year was shown...and that's all they have as far as I know.

But no, it's not a crime to publish the return as long as you did not request someone break the law to obtain it. The return was mailed to DC Johnston anonymously without his knowledge.

And FWIW, I'm fairly certain Trump released this himself. But just a hunch...

That is pretty sad.

I've heard of him and have been following his work for years. He's written numerous books about Trump and Trump knows him...there's no question about that. Trust me.

He's done some great working linking trump to a drug trafficker through his Trump helipcopters. It's a good read, you should take a look.

It's only one return and just the first two pages of it. That alone does not show you much...other than that he likely took the remainder of a big loss carryforward in 2005 which likely means the NY Times was correct that he paid no taxes from 1996-2004.

That's why I think Trump leaked it. If it were anyone else you'd think they'd send the whole return including the supporting schedules and forms. Assuming they actually have them. If it were a financial institution, they may well just have the first two pages.

I hope they release the returns. THEN the lawyers will get involved and it will be awesome!
