Dr. Gauld
I got word that Dr. Gauld died today. I don't know any details but I remember her from my time at UAB. She was a great VP of Student Affairs and a die hard Blazer.

I was about to post this info. She was one of the best advocates for UAB that we have ever had. She truly cared about every single student on campus. She was a feisty, intelligent, caring, and passionate person. Heaven gained a wonderful lady today.

I am shocked and saddened at this news. I tried several times to get her and her husband to go with us to baskeball games this season but she was unable to do so due to various health reasons. What a great loss for the UAB family.

My wife was saddened to hear of the death of an old friend from when they were both active in the Canterbury Methodist Church years ago.
