In a fair world you wouldn't get 10 teams from 1 conference in the tournament.

I have no problem with ten teams from the same conference getting in if they are deserving of an at large bid.

The at large bid is what's wrong with the tournament now. As long as there is an extra benefit, somebody will find a way to screw someone else out of it.
