Xavier is so weird. They were a top-15 team, then their point guard blows out his knee and next thing you know, they can't beat anyone who isn't DePaul. But they did beat Butler and gave Creighton a good run in the BE tourney, so who knows?

Princeton's always a good choice to pull an upset because of that offense of theirs. I could see UNC Wilmington beating Virginia. Pretty much any of the 12s could win, but that's hardly surprising.

Longest shot possibilities: New Mexico State over Baylor, Florida Gulf Coast over FSU, North Dakota over Arizona. But I wouldn't put them in any of my brackets unless it was a "what the hell, this one's not going to win anyway" bracket filled with upsets.

The Razor Pick would be to take UNCW over Virginia - its having the jewels to put an upset special to the sweetness of 16. There will be a ton of brackets with 2 to 3 ACC teams in the final 4 - I think a PAC 10 team will be there in an Arizona and or UCLA.

I also have MT in the Sweet 16. Maybe I'm drinking the kool-aid

I have SMU playing vulture to a proud but worn-out NMSU after their upset win over Baylor. Then comes SMU-Duke, which I think will be one of the more memorable games of the tournament.

Final Four: SMU, Notre Dame, Iowa State, UNC

Dark horse: SMU

FINAL 4: Villanovan, Arizona, Kansas, Kentucky

Surprise teams I think can make a run:
Florida/SMU/Marquetee (all out of east) I can see 1-2 being in elite 8

St. Marys...but, Zona is really well.....so that will be tough one, but otherwise that is the softest region by a longshot....really weak 3/5/6 seeds

I could see RI in the sweet 16. I could see Butler in the elite 8. I could see Wichita beating Kentucky and UCLA

The Midwest is incredibly weak and really wide open.

Final 4: Nova, Arizona, Oregon(would def. be with Boucher, but he's out so debating), Kentucky

That was my 5 minute bracket. I will probably wrap up my real money bracket on Wednesday night.

I think 'Nova is the best team, but in my experience, where the games are played seem to matter. Since the F4 is being played in Phoenix, I picked 'Zona. I also think think their bracket is pretty weak to get there. Gonzaga has never made a Final 4 and FSU has been trending down.

Zona certainly got the ideal region. I would rather play Kansas than Gonzaga, but otherwise, their region is really weak.

Let me know when the house goes into foreclosure, because Oregon and Arizona aren't going to pay out, and NOVA's path with Duke in their bracket just got a lot harder than any of the other 1s.

i could careless...ODU is stuck at home and that is unacceptable. With what this fan base donates compared to other programs we are getting the shaft.

I have VT winning that game.

Hokie High has quicker guards but Wisc. has bigger players. If they can force VT into bad shots they beat VT up.

Good picks. Why keep calling MTSU "Empty Sue?" Because ODU has come up "Empty" against them!
