That this year's NCAA tournament has three teams from what was in the A-Sun a very short time ago? Northern Kentucky went 24-10 and got the Horizon bid, Gulf Coast won the A-Sun,and ETSU. And honestly had Belmont not choked again (I know, where was this when they were dumping 60 a half on us) they would've been in as well.
Happy for NKU, I always thought they had potential to be a big program.

If I remember correctly, the NCAA distributes funds based on conference performance for the past 6 years in the tournament. With Mercer and Gulf Coast's NCAA tournament wins, I imagine that the ASUN is making much more money than the SoCon is right now from the NCAA. It is time for us to give the SoCon some money!

It's hard to believe that the A-Sun has had the wins it's had, but sure enough...

Northern Kentucky is doing everything the Kennesaw fans said they would do. Wearing the same colors too.

Yes, as the one who did nightly updates on such goings-on, I was aware of it and almost made such a post.
There were always some good teams at the top of the ASun. And agreed - props to NKU for coming this far this fast. They've done it quicker than anyone - except Kennesaw, of course. lol.

But yea, NKU has the facilities and the resources to make happen what the Owls thought they would. I'm honestly surprised Bellarmine hasn't moved up to chase them down.
