Every time you see someone on here hating a Muslim, you should just mentally change that to them saying N____r! to a black man, or posting derogatory pictures of black people, etc. That's what it really is.

There are over a billion Muslims in the world. And guess what? They all don't fit into a caricature of some young male with a bomb strapped to his body. What I don't see is perspective from the Islamaphobes.

There are facts. It is a fact that there are Muslims that are radicals and that they commit violence. But there are Muslims that do not. It is a fact that there are right wing Christian males that are radicals that commit violence. And there are those that do not. But just as we don't assume that Eric Rudolph is representative of all Christians, we shouldn't assume or blame all Muslims for the behavior of others. It isn't the religion that creates the problem, but rather the desire to compel others to follow those dictates and the arrogance that they know all the answers and speak for the almighty. Neither Islam (ISIS), nor Christianity (Inquisition), nor Hindus (Indian Vivisection), nor Buddhists (currently against Rohinghas), nor Nationalist Atheists (against Jews), nor Communist Atheists (against lots of people) are exempt from this.

Sectarianism without pluralism frequently leads to problems. But so does scapegoating.

The answer is pluaralism, consensus, and respect for others. There's a reason moves towards monocultural nationalism almost always end in strife. Because it almost always leads to both abuses of minorities by the majority and resentment of the majority by the minority.

Really, lots of Christians commit violence. We just don't report it as such as "Christian man with a gun shoots wife for infidelity".

Said man may go to church but he didn't shoot his wife because religion told him to.

All the "Alla Akbar" shouting says religion is telling Islamists to commit the same atrocity's it's founder committed. Jesus? Don't recall him doing any killing or raping of children. Enlighten me if I missed it.
