I think his point is you are counting twice. It's kind of hard to get a conference title in football without also winning the east division.

It would be kind of like if we still had divisions in basketball giving ourselves three titles this year for east, overall regular season and tournament.

The point is EVERY title in CUSA is counted the same as Western counts it...

the closes one still only has 8.

Middle just earned 2 for basketball and that is the way the conference will count it...not just CUSA but all of the NCAA is counted this way.

But I will trade all of Western's (non basketball/football ) for Middle conference tourney championship in basketball
