UCONN: Olive Branch of Peace
Uconn
I know its been a crap year and yesterday was tough to swallow.
But I'm here to console you. I want to be that soothing salve to your chapped arse.
Please accept my olive branch of peace.
Lets stop this pointless bickering and be friends.

You guys got screwed having to play UCLA in California. You should have been a 5 at worst and SMU a 4. Good luck in tournament.

I like UConn and want and expect them to be good. The better we both are, the better it is for the rivalry. I hated being on the losing end of those amazing finishes, but it's good for the teams, the conference, and hoops generally.
We've both had traditional rivals we lost. GT and Cuse for UConn. UL and Marquette for UC. But. I really like this one better. Although we still have Xavier, I'd just as soon dump them. Know it won't happen though.

Btw. UC and Louisville played awful in the BE title game our last year. Neither team scored more then 55 points. UC beat #10 and 3 seed Fla st to go to S16. Louisville won the title.

Oh, duh...lol...I used to go see Patrick Ewing and Georgetown play at the Capital Centre when I was little and at the Verizon Center as an adult, but have never heard of that team being referenced as GT; G'town, yes, but DC locals never say GT.
