29 Wins
This team has joined some elite company with 29 wins. Other teams that have won 29...
61-62 NC team (best team of the two title teams) 29-2
91-92 Final four team 29-5
99-00 Kmart team 29-4
01-02 Logan team 31-4
All 3 of those Huggins teams were probably the best teams during Bob's tenure. This team hasn't done it against the same level of competition all these other teams had, and has had more games to do it in, but it still cool to be joining the company of some of our great teams. Let's hope they can keep winning and break the 31 win mark.

We're 29-4, so the number of games is the same as one of the years you cited, and fewer than another. I would say our schedule is only marginally worse than those CUSA years. In Logan's senior season, we only had 3 ranked opponents, one fewer than we've played this year. On balance, though, we played better teams that year. Regardless, 29 wins is a hell of an accomplishment.

Your right, I guess I meant for the regular season. 20-25 years ago most teams played like 25-26 games during the regular season, where now everyone is playing 31. 50 years ago people were playing like 21-22 games during the regular season. But that was not my point, and hopefully we keep winning. If Mick can just get to 36 I will finally cut him some slack

29 wins, undefeated at home, ranked most of the season and a chance to win the AAC tourney today. Much for Bearcat fans to be thankful for this season...and so much more opportunity before them beginning @ 3:15 p.m.

The 2002 team had 8 RPI top 50 wins and 18 top 100 RPI wins. They finished 2nd in the RPI with a SOS of 23. I think calling that schedule "marginally" better isn't accurate.

No way this year's ASC schedule is anywhere close to The CUSA schedule in Logan's senior year. CUSA had Louisville, Memphis,Marquette, charlotte, Saint Louis, DePaul and UAB. Tulane was better back then than they are now.

Which of those teams were typically ranked during our time in CUSA? Not being smart, I just genuinely don't know.

That was Pitino's first year at UofL, and they were an NIT team. So was Memphis. SLU, Depaul, Tulane, and UAB were all dreadful. Marquette was good, and Charlotte was a tourney team. But it was not a particularly good year for that league.
