I think they deserve an 8 or 9 seed at worse. What does everyone else think?

Hope for a 12.. Great "upset" seed. You'll get an undeserving P5 team hanging on by a thread, and smoke em. Probably deserve an 8 or so... That was hard to say as a Topper fan.

MTSU is a top 25 team shouldn't they be a 6 or 7 seed?

That's the hopeful view.

The cynical, but more realistic, possibility is that you get the 8 or 9, but only to be matched up against another underrated G5 -- for the unstated purpose of ensuring that only one of you have the chance to knock an undeserving power-conference team out of the tournament.

However it turns out, good luck Raiders. You guys led the way for the conference from start to finish this season. I hope you make a LOT of noise in the NCAA.

Where they are ranked means very little in seeding. It is about who you played, who you beat, RPI, and road wins. The power leagues have a big advantage in the who you play department.
When most people think of Gonzaga's record the consensus is since they play in the WCC they have a soft schedule but fail to note they beat, Florida, Arizona, Iowa State and Tennessee.

35 in the ncaa rpi this morning, if they were to go strictly by that, it would be an 8, but I fully expect a 12 seed.

This is what I expect. I fully expect the committee to match us up as an 11 against SMU as a 6. That way the committee gets rid of one of the two 30-win teams that can do damage.

if I had to bet, I would bet 12 but I do think they may get 11.

Maybe Im wrong and the committee will surprise but you guys havent follwed seeding much if you think they are getting a 9.

They should make the Sweet Sixteen. Minnesota and Butler appear to be over seeded

I like MTSU but they arent a better team than Minny or Butler. Good draw vs what they could have gotten but people penciling them in thinking they are better is kinda silly.
