A friend of mine brought one of these back in his luggage from Egypt 20 years ago. A novelty clock. Swear to god

I wouldn't want my address on that while traveling through the postal system.

I'll tell my neighbor to expect a package for me. 03-wink

And since so many people have nonsensical misunderstandings about the scientific intelligence of DST, here is the scientific explanation:

There's no scientific reason for it.

It saves daylight for later. Stupid and wasteful not to do it, unless you live close to the equator.

Shifted from before people wake up (wasteful) to later in the day.

The graph explains that perfectly well, all you have to do is choose not to be ignorant.

Scientific or not - I much prefer more daylight later in the evening. I hate it when it's dark by the time you get off
work making it extremely difficult to get anything outside done on any days but Saturday/Sunday.

It wouldn't bother me at all to have it permanently shifted to more evening daylight.

Nah, ignorance is thinking that you are "saving" anything when you adjust your clock. There would be the exact same number of hours of daylight today if we didn't have DST as there is with it.

From my understanding, DST only helps farmers.
