Laytwan Porter
Sorry if this was posted before, but the Rockford Register posted a tweet saying that Porter is no longer on the team. I realize that this is a problem within all of the NCAA, but there seems to be something amiss with the men's basketball team. Either he is recruiting the wrong type of people or he is a very difficult coach to play for. Too many players have left for this to just be business as usual.

Yeah it was announced a few weeks ago. I think there are some issues with Montgomery, he does lose to many players, but I don't think Porter's departure is his fault in terms of how he handled him when he was here. Not a coach in the nation could have made Porter productive with his attitude. Might be the worst attitude I have ever seen in a team sport. Persecution complex to the nth degree

Porter had numerous chances. Not Monte's fault that he got himself arrested a couple times. Had many second chances and didn't take advantage. Hopefully he can turn his life around.

RE: Laytwan Porter
I only know of the arrest for tiny amount of pot when they got back from Vegas16 tourney. A big % of college age kids are smoking pot. That being said it's very wrong to drive under influence of pot
