Memphis begins 2017 spring drills in mid-March, with the annual FRIDAY Night Stripes spring game set for April 14 at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium.

I've been going to tiger football games for a very very long time and never went to the spring games, but this year will be my 3rd spring game in a row. If dj devin steel isn't there blasting everyone with spring rap, i'll be a little disappointed.

We could see the remaining records not broken last year, broken this year. DAMN could you imagine having Ferguson for three or four years.

Going to own most of the Tigers passing records in just two years. Career TD only one not reachable in 2 years.

Miller will own all Tigers receiving records in just three years.

The two expected to be one of the top explosive combos in FB this year.

"I think he has as high of a ceiling as most guys that I've coached," Memphis head coach Mike Norvell said of Anthony Miller before the 2016 season, per Tom Schad of the Commercial Appeal. "I really have high expectations for him."

Consider those expectations met and surpassed.

He shattered program records with 95 receptions for 1,434 yards and 14 touchdowns. Since Riley Ferguson will be back at quarterback for the Tigers, Miller's numbers may even rise.

Among returning wideouts, only Southern Miss' Allenzae Staggers—who lost QB Nick Mullens—Thompson and Pitt's Jester Weah had more 50-plus-yard catches. Miller ranked no worse than 11th nationally in each of 20-, 30- and 40-plus-yard tiers.

Louisianans Pop Williams and Nehemiah Augustus. I am especially excited to see redshirted Nehemiah hit the field because of his talent and his great character and enthusiasm to be a Tiger. And faith is inspiring to me.

Barring injuries a lot of people will see 8 wins as a disappointment.
