if I ran the ACC and I had total control, i would boot Cuse from the league after his statements. that will take care of his issue with Gboro. lol

Check your pants for smoke.

Also, your insecurity is showing.

nothing to do with Cuse specifically, would say the same about any team on the bubble that beat Clemson like that.

one thing that has surprised me is since expansion that Clemson can play with the big east teams that came over. i figured Clemson was going to become the doormat but have managed to be middle of the pack.

And it doesn't really matter whether Boeheim still wishes he were coaching in the Big East - he's already made a Final Four as part of the ACC, so it's not a point worth belaboring.

he hasn't won any ACC tournaments and last year was a fluke, that team didn't have a good record.

Winning ACC Tournaments really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. And while you can debate whether or not Syracuse deserved to be in the tournament last year (I didn't think so), it doesn't diminish their accomplishment of making the Final Four.

I pine for the old days when to make the NCAAT you had to will your conference. The ACCT really meant something then!

You are absolutely correct. DC would be a good place to have the tournament maybe 20% of the time (max).

Wow, XLance, so you must be coming around to NYC for the other 80% (since Greensboro is still in NC which we are assuming in the first line is off limits)?

DC 20%
Atl 10%
NY 20%
Greensboro 50%

The best part of Atlanta is almost always leaving Atlanta. Split the ATL 10% between NYC and D.C., and we agree.

I'm OK with 50% in Greensboro. If your beef is with Atlanta we could give their 10% to Charlotte.

Give 5% to NYC (so it's a clean once every 4 years setup), and I don't care about the remaining 5%.

Make the above adjustment, and you have my vote (not that my vote matters outside my own mind)
